At Zentosa Fest, we have designed Stress Stop to guide you to a place where life does not seem so hectic and your mind is not racing in all directions making it difficult to slow down, sleep or rest. To get to the Stress Stop zone, you will need to walk across a connecting bridge from main Sentosa island to the southernmost point.

On the way there, you can write down your commitment to wellness and living well on a ribbon which we will provide free of charge, and tie these ribbons to the bridge. If you need ideas on what to write, check out quotes about wellness on wellness-related websites. You will likely find something that is in alignment with your own thoughts. The ribbons will be available to anyone who goes to Sentosa during Zentosa Fest.

Once you cross the bridge, which we hope will ultimately be lined with many, many ribbons, there is an array of wellness programmes to choose from led by well-known personalities, such as yoga, meditation and sound bathing. The deeper you can immerse yourself into such wellness activities, the calmer you will become in managing your daily lives.

Tai Chi

Practise Qigong breathing techniques and body tapping exercises. You will also be taught some movements from the Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi.

Your instructor is Master Toh, the Deputy Chief Instructor at World Nam Wah Pai Association. He is also the head instructor in charge at Nam Wah Pai Martial Arts Club in NUS. He has more than 15 years’ experience teaching Tai Chi.
